The Brethren movement began under the leadership of Alexander Mack, Sr. in 1708 in Schwarzenau Germany as a natural outgrowth of the Anabaptist and Pietist movements following the Reformation. Circumstances have often required us to declare to the world and to other Christians what we understand the Word of God to teach on various subjects. SPRING CBM Sunday April 12th

Sunday    April 12th    Following Worship Service

Following worship on Sunday, April 12th, there will be a fellowship meal followed by our Spring CBM meeting. Bring a dish or two and stay for an enjoyable time of fellowship with friends and family. Drink & table service will be provided by the church. The CBM will begin following the conclusion of the meal. The agenda of the meeting and prior CBM minutes are available in the narthex.

Signup Sheets

There are various signup sheets available on the church bulletin board. There is a weekly Sunday Greeter signup if you would like to be a Sunday morning greeter and there is a Floral Display signup if you would like to provide flowers in the sanctuary for the Sunday morning service.

Cookbooks have arrived!

The cost of the Cookbook is $12 and the proceeds will go to support the Moscow Youth Ministry. Thank you to all who contributed recipes and to those purchasing to support our youth! Please see Megan after the worship service in the fellowship hall to purchase. If writing a check, please include “cookbook” in the memo line. Thank You!

Women’s Community Prayer Breakfast will be held at Mossy Creek Presbyterian Church Saturday, April 11th at 8:30 am.

Youth Fishing Trip

Save the date! Youth fishing trip April 25th at Sugar Grove, WV. Come enjoy a day of fishing and fellowship! More to come.

Blue Ridge Region Rebuild

May 31st through June 5th

Gary Wingfield, Chair of the Blue Ridge Covenant Church Missions Team, has a Samaritan’s Purse Disaster Rebuild week approved for 5 men and 2 women starting May 31st through June 5th. North River PTB Donations

Now through April 26th

The North River PTB is collecting gift certificates to raffle or award teachers during Teacher Appreciation Week. Donations of gift certificates in any amount can be given by April 26th to help support this worthy cause. Donations can be given to Flanna or Megan.
